Is Your Water ZeroWater Clean?

With all the fancy filters and fancy water bottles claiming to have the purest & cleanest water for you, when is the last time you put those claims to the test? August is Water Quality Awareness Month and I challenge you to test your water. I have ZeroWater filtration system for several months now and I’m hoping by the end of this post you will understand why I stand behind them.

Before I go any further, I want to explain what TDS and how it relates to your water.

TDS stands for total dissolved solids and it is are a measurement of compounds like minerals, salts, and organic compounds that are dissolved in your water through contact with rocks and other surfaces. TDS can be made up of several different types of compounds including but not limited to: calcium, magnesium, iron, sodium chloride and sulfides. Increasing TDS levels will affect the taste and appearance of your water.

Welcome ZeroWater

ZeroWater offers a 5 stage filtration system that not only removes 99% of TDS is certified to reduce the amount of lead & chromium found in your water.

As a little experiment, I decided to test my ZeroWater pitcher against other water filters currently in my home. Below are the tests of TDS found in my tap water, water from my refrigerator door, my in-sink reverse osmosis filter, and finally the zero water pitcher. All were taken from the source at the same time and tested with the same meter.

When choosing a ZeroWater system you have a couple of options. The first is of one of their many pitchers ranging from holding 6 cups to 40 cups, a personal tumbler which holds 26 ounce for when you are on the go, and a water cooler bottle that can be attached to most water dispensers. As a bonus with each pitcher, you will receive a free Water Quality Meter so you can be sure of your water quality every time.
